‘Deen the Great’ speaks out after run-in with ex-UFC fighter
Deen the Great has responded following his run-in with a former UFC fighter that went viral online.
The influencer boxer, whose real name is Nurideen Shabazz, was slapped by Larry Wheels earlier this week.
A day later, more footage appeared showing Deen being dropped by Tiki Ghosn during a party hosted by Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson.
The former 10-8 MMA fighter, who now works as a manager, elbowed Shabazz in the face after being threatened with a slap.
‘Deen the Great’ apologises for altercation
Appearing on his latest KICK stream, ‘Deen the Great’ was seen wearing a neck brace as he addressed the incident.
The 25-year-old offered an apology but maintained that Ghosn’s reaction was over the top.
Dana White later posted video of the confrontation on his Instagram story. Following that, ‘Deen the Great’ called for a boxing match to settle things with Ghosn.
“I’m going to have to take that one,” he added. “But let’s be honest, there’s no way I should’ve caught an elbow like that.
“That said, sometimes you’ve just got to deal with what comes your way. That’s on me.”
Deen the Great makes plea to Rampage Jackson
During the same livestream, Deen the Great called up Rampage Jackson and asked him to set up an exhibition bout.
“Me and Tiki, we gotta run it,” he insisted.
“We can do an exhibition. We can do a m———g boxing match, whatever.
“The — ain’t gonna elbow or kick me in MMA… I ain’t taking another elbow.
